LIGHT

Indirect Light: Provide bright, indirect light rather than direct sunlight. Tissue-cultured plants are often light-sensitive and may scorch easily.
Monitor Growth: Once they show signs of stable growth, you can move them to slightly brighter conditions, but avoid harsh, direct sunlight.

CARE TIPS

1. Acclimatization:
Gradual Transition: Tissue culture plants are typically grown in sterile conditions and may be sensitive to natural environments. Gradually transition them to normal humidity and light levels over a couple of weeks.
Humidity: Keep them in a high-humidity environment at first, such as a clear plastic container or humidity dome, and gradually reduce humidity over time to prevent shock.
2. Watering:
Keep Moist, Not Soggy: Water carefully, as tissue culture plants are vulnerable to root rot. Use distilled or filtered water if possible, and avoid letting them dry out completely.
Humidity: A humidity tray or a gentle misting can help maintain moisture without saturating the soil.
3. Temperature:
Stable Temperatures: Tissue-cultured plants prefer stable temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Avoid sudden temperature changes and keep them away from cold drafts or direct heat sources.
4. Soil and Nutrients:
Well-Draining Medium: Use a well-draining potting mix suitable for the plant type, as compact or soggy soils can harm fragile roots.
Fertilize Sparingly: Tissue-cultured plants are sensitive to fertilizers, so use a diluted, balanced liquid fertilizer only after the plant has established itself.
5. Avoid Pests and Contaminants:
Sterile Conditions: Tissue culture plants are grown in sterile environments and can be susceptible to infections or pests. Inspect regularly and quarantine if needed, especially when transitioning to standard environments.
