They thrive in well-draining, humus-rich soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH. Regular watering is essential to keep the soil consistently moist, and it's important to also water the trunk and crown to prevent drying out. Maintaining high humidity is crucial, so misting the fronds or using a humidifier can be beneficial, especially in dry conditions. During the growing season, apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer or liquid seaweed fertilizer to support healthy growth. Additionally, adding a layer of organic mulch around the base helps retain moisture and provide nutrients. Regularly remove dead or damaged fronds to keep the plant healthy and attractive.
