The Bablimas, also known as the Pomelo, is a large citrus fruit tree native to Southeast Asia. It's a majestic tree that can grow up to 5-15 meters tall, with a thick, crooked trunk and low-hanging branches. Its leaves are large, leathery, and bright green, while its fragrant flowers are white or pale yellow. The fruit itself is the largest of all citrus fruits, often weighing between 1-2 kilograms. It has a thick, somewhat bitter rind and a sweet, juicy flesh that's similar to grapefruit.

CARE TIPS

Soil:
Well-draining, slightly acidic soil is ideal for pomelo trees. A mixture of loam, sand, and organic compost provides optimal growing conditions.

Watering:
Water the tree deeply and regularly, especially during dry periods. However, avoid overwatering as it can lead to root rot.
Check the soil moisture regularly and water when the top inch of soil feels dry.

Fertilizing:
Fertilize the tree with a balanced citrus fertilizer in spring and summer. Follow the instructions on the fertilizer package for the appropriate dosage.
