Indigofera decora, commonly known as summer wisteria.It is a charming dwarf shrub, flowering freely in July and August A deciduous shrub with a spreading habit and arching branches. Long, slender spikes of mauve, pea-shaped flowers are borne at the ends of the branches creating a drooping, pendulous appearance. It looks rather Wisteria like but at ground level. This is a great choice for shady areas because of its ability to flower in quite deep shade. There is also a white flowering variety available called "Alba".

CARE TIPS

A light, moist, well drained soil. Water regullarly; do not over-water. For any insect attack or disease, you can use Neem oil or organic pesticides. If you are planning to repot, it's best to wait at least 2 or 3 weeks after getting your new plant. Prune it in spring when new shoots are coming away to encourage stronger growth & new shoots and feed with a complete fertiliser in spring.
