Pitcher plant is a carnivorous plant with pitcher-shaped leaves that form a passive pitfall trap. A prey-trapping mechanism featuring a deep cavity filled with digestive liquid. The traps of what are considered to be "true" pitcher plants are formed by specialized leaves. The plants attract and drown their prey with nectar.

CARE TIPS

No need to add additional fertilizers. As fertilizer increases, the plant will not produce pitchers. Keep them in well-draining potting soil. Water thoroughly in the summer and during the winter, reduce watering but do not let the plant dry out completely. If you are planning to repot, it's best to wait at least 2 or 3 weeks after getting your new plant.
