The rare Philodendron El Choco Red is a climbing Aroid that is famous for its large, heart-shaped leaves that have a pop of color. When young, leaves have bright red undersides. As it matures, it’s red coloring slowly fades to green. Leaves have a satin, almost velvety texture, and prominent light green veins.
