Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain its vibrant variegation. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while low light can reduce the intensity of the variegation. A location near an east or north-facing window is ideal.

Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. Reduce watering frequency during the plant’s dormant period in winter.
Humidity: Thrives in high humidity environments. Aim for humidity levels of 60% or higher. Use a humidifier, place the plant on a humidity tray, or mist the leaves regularly to maintain adequate moisture.
Temperature: Optimal temperature range is between 65-85°F (18-29°C). Protect the plant from cold drafts and avoid placing it in areas with sudden temperature fluctuations.
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix. A mixture of potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark works well to ensure good drainage and aeration. This helps prevent waterlogging and root rot.
Fertilization: Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). This promotes healthy growth and maintains the plant’s vibrant variegation.
Support: Provide a moss pole or trellis to support its climbing nature. This encourages vertical growth and helps display its beautiful leaves more effectively.
Pruning: Prune occasionally to maintain the desired shape and remove any yellowing or damaged leaves. Regular pruning can also promote bushier growth.
