The ‘Nam Dok Mai’ is a variety of mango from Thailand. The name ‘Nam Dok Mia’ translates as ‘Sweet Juice of a Flower’.Therefore, some locals say that the fragrance of this mango variety resembles that of daffodils. It is a medium-sized tree potentially reaching heights of over six meters. The fruit quality is excellent, with a pale green/yellow fibreless flesh and a rich, sweet flavour. Nam Doc Mai is grown commercially in Australia and Colombia.
