Place the plant in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while too little light can reduce the intensity of the variegation. An east or north-facing window is ideal.

Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. Overwatering can be detrimental to the plant's health.
Humidity: High humidity is preferred by the Homalomena Mint Variegated. If your home is dry, especially in winter, use a humidifier or place the plant on a humidity tray to maintain moisture levels.
Temperature: Ideal temperature range is between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Protect the plant from cold drafts and avoid placing it in areas with sudden temperature changes.
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix. A mix designed for aroids or a combination of potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark works well to ensure good drainage and aeration.
Fertilization: Feed the plant with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). This helps support healthy growth and vibrant variegation.
Pruning: Remove any yellowing or damaged leaves to keep the plant looking its best. Pruning can also help encourage new growth.
