Uvaria Hirsuta jack is a rare, unique-looking evergreen woody climber from the Annonaceae family. Native to Myanmar, Peninsular Malaysia, and Singapore. It is commonly known as the Wild rambutan because of its hairy skin fruits. It is a woody and slender climber that grows 5–15 m long. The plant is harvested from the wild for local use its fruit. The cylindrical, orange, hairy fruits are 2–3.5 cm long with a very nice sweet taste. Each fruit contains egg-shaped seeds lined in 2 rows. The plant grows well in Fertile Loamy Soils, Well-Drained Soils, and Moist Soils
