DIFFICULTY

Easy - Low maintenance

LIGHT

Provide bright, indirect light to maintain vibrant variegation. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. Lower light levels may reduce variegation.

CARE TIPS

Watering: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure the pot has good drainage.

Humidity: Prefers higher humidity levels (above 50%). You can increase humidity by misting the plant, using a humidifier, or placing a tray of water nearby.

Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 65-85°F (18-29°C). Protect the plant from cold drafts and avoid temperatures below 55°F (13°C).

Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a mix designed for aroids, or a combination of peat, perlite, and orchid bark.

Fertilization: Feed monthly during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer at half strength. Reduce feeding in the fall and winter when the plant's growth slows down.

Pruning: Regularly prune to maintain the desired shape and size, and to encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead or yellowing leaves to keep the plant healthy.

Propagation: Easily propagated through stem cuttings. Cut below a node and place the cutting in water or soil to encourage root growth.
