Dischidia imbricata prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. A spot with filtered light is ideal.

Water
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of the soil feels dry. In high humidity environments, you may need to water less frequently.
Soil
Soil Type: Use a well-draining epiphytic mix, such as one designed for orchids or bromeliads. You can also use a mixture of sphagnum moss, bark, and perlite.
Temperature and Humidity
Temperature: This plant prefers warm temperatures between 18-30°C (65-85°F). Protect it from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C (59°F).
Humidity: High humidity is ideal. Maintain humidity levels around 60-80%. You can use a humidifier or place the pot on a tray of pebbles with water.
Fertilization
Fertilizer: Feed the plant with a diluted balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding during the fall and winter months.
Repotting
Repotting: Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant outgrows its current pot. Use a pot with good drainage and fresh epiphytic mix.
Pruning
Pruning: Prune the plant to control its size and shape. Remove any dead or yellowing leaves to promote healthy growth.
