It is happiest in warmer climates, but will tolerate some short lived light frosts in temperate climates.

Plant in rich well-drained soil. Moderate water required; do not over-water. For any insect attack or disease, you can use Neem oil or organic pesticides. If you are planning to repot, it's best to wait at least 2 or 3 weeks after getting your new plant. If pruned after flowering, this plant makes a nice shrub, or it can be trained over a trellis or other support.
