Anthurium besseae aff has beautiful, dark and velvety leaves, which makes its sparkly leaf veins particularly striking. New leaves first unfold in dark red and subsequently develop the dark green color, while the back of the leaves retain a slightly reddish color. It is possible that what is known as Anthurium bessae aff is actually Anthurium sp. nov Darien, which is a yet undescribed species from premontane forests in the Darién Province of Panama. Whatever we're calling it, this species is a gorgeous velvety leaved anthurium species with beautiful veining and amazing color.

Plant the Anthuriums in a loose, breathable mix of potting mix. Maintain evenly moist but not soggy soil during the growing season, watering when the surface begins to dry. Reduce watering in winter.
Repot the plant to bigger pot on day you receive them, for better growth.
