Ground orchids (Spathoglottis plicata) are evergreen, terrestrial plants with crowded pseudobulbs. They make a striking landscape statement with their tall pleated leaves and almost constant resupinate pink - purple blooms. Unlike other potted orchids, these stunning plants do well in the ground, so they’re well-suited as a bedding plant in very warm environments.
